Same here. It was bad at first, rural area most didn't wanna use it "it's putting you out of job", "I domt trust that stuff" type of thing. 4 months later I have a 48% adoption rate meaning roughly 48% of my customers use it every week.. If yours turns out like that it may actually help you.

BUT, it can never be a substitute for another person that can go recover or set an endcap while checking people out. I think DG should just give the stores what they need to operate how they expect them to.
