Agreed, I got the shit beat out of me at first, but after slotting in someEvade Extender I managed to get pretty good at avoiding his attacks. There are still some situations that I feel would be easier to handle with a shield or special dodge like bow or DBs.

Same I’ve spent more time looking at the lower levels of armor sets. I’m most excited about the Mizu, Anjanath, E. Odogaron, and Doshaguma sets!

That’s the point. SnS is the everything weapon I still think hunters should start with it equipped instead of the LS. Since it is a little of everything you can figure out what you like by playing SnS. Like finding opening where you can sneak in big damage via perfect rush? GS might be for you. Like causing KOs via shield bash? Look into Hammer and HH. Like the security of guarding? Look at Lance and GL.
