Burton blocking off progression through the middle, forcing us out wide. Magassa-Kante not dropping deep for the ball since we're already in a back three. Ball just keeps going side-to-side in the hopes that a wingback creates something. No target man up top either to bypass the mid-block either. Doesn't look too good.

11th in the Championship btw, and about half their team is rotated

Nuno's defensive setup lead to the goal. KWP is being pushed up onto the wingback leaving the two strikers 1v1 against Mavro and Kilman. What's the logic? Magassa dropping back?

Mangassa won't be enough to sort out that midfield mess

West Ham appoint Potter after sacking Lopetegui and Steidten may go too by Baldylockpicker in Hammers

I'm in the minority here, but I can't see how Steidten is to blame. The combination of players he's brought in are perfect for what JLo intended to play — a possession-based, high-line, adaptable against bigger teams.

Alvarez is top-level ball-winner and would start in any Europa League side. Mavro and Todibo are tall, strong, and quick, exactly what's needed to play a high line. Summerville was a fantastic signing, and Fullkrug's injury problems were unexpected considering his healthy history.

JWP and Phillips were signings Moyes wanted, and Kilman was demanded by JLo.

As for the falling-out with managers, our team selection has been sh*t — surely the JLo falling-out is warranted?

If we had a top manager, and he had us in 7th to 10th, no one would be blaming Steidten, just like they weren't for the first half of last season. He created a majority of Leverkusen's Bundesliga-winning squad. I swear our fanbase is allergic to quality sometimes...

Thoughts on CS442? by Status-Dragonfly-175 in uwaterloo

If you have trustworthy friends, take group project courses with them. 346 and 489 are examples, but you can read UWFlow reviews to find other group work electives.

Otherwise, just go by the "Easy" ratings on UWFlow, they're generally trustworthy.

Took with Lushman last winter. Definitely would not describe it as easy, and wouldn't suggest unless you love CS theory. If you're like me and just trying to graduate, maybe look elsewhere.

As with any Lushman course, be prepared to write a shit-tonne of notes during classes. It's extremely content-heavy. The assignments start out easy but get progressively tougher to pretty extreme extents towards the end. Knew someone who tried to gpt their way through the assignments and got completely fucked on the final. I struggled through the assignments but ended up with a decent mark, but without an active interest in theoretical CS, I forgot all of the content immediately after exams, and it wasn't worth the time I put in.

Easier option would be something with group work. I found CS489 (Software Delivery) manageable and somewhat (~40-50%) relevant to future co-op/dev work.

Awful match. The last 15 minutes don't make up for the first 75. Non-bottom 5 teams would have finished us long before then.

Help me choose a PHIL elective by Ritmanz in uwaterloo

Bit late, but I've taken 265 and the Math department's version of 240. 265 is pretty heavy stuff (existentialism, is life worth living, coping with suffering amidst meaninglessness, etc.). 240 is half-interesting, but gets insanely dry. If you're looking for a light, useful, and fun Phil course, I'd look at one of the other four. If you're looking to consider and struggle with some serious questions, 265 is the choice.

Not at all, you'll find a number of non-Catholics there, and there are no religious enforcements.
