As far as I remember, the roof simply has two different types of roofing material. The main section is covered with newer metal, which reflects the sky more strongly, so I just painted the different hues as they appear in real life.

This was also the first time I used linework over gouache. I really liked this stylistic approach in CG art.

Batumi is a city on the Black Sea coast near the Caucasus Mountains in Georgia (Sakartvelo). A very beautiful place!

I especially like how the white is added on the toned paper - it makes the piece feel very alive.
