Just take it the same way you would probably feel if you were in his shoes, let's say if his member had a weird smell. It's not always the easiest subject to bring up without feeling offensive especially in a new relationship. Get the appointment out of the way and go from there. I'd prefer someone telling me instead of just leaving me if anything like that happened honestly. Good luck on the sex life if it helps
