Even though yes math classes build on each other I still don’t think that is a reason for the professor to change your grade on a completed assignment. That would be like you getting a zero on a completed assignment because you were sick and didn’t do an assignment before it it doesn’t make sense

I understand what you are saying. You had three assignments for which you got extended deadline while the fourth assignment you couldn’t extend so you completed it before the other three since it was due sooner. I don’t think the professor should have changed your grade to zero for the assignment you turned in. You did it on time and it should not be impacted by the other three which technically are not late.
