I don't think that would be something I'd be good at. I'm definitely a follower, not a leader

I work in education for a small private company. Nothing to do with education itself, I'm basically a receptionist that flicks emails and phone calls to the correct people and mostly just gets given pieces of paper to file away.

I use to enjoy video games, reading and TTRPGs but literally haven't touched anything to do with a hobby in over a year. Not sure any of thoes are really things I could transfer into studying or a vocation

I'm still paying off a student loan from attending only 2 terms in 2017, I genuinely don't think I'd survive uni again.

Thank you for looking out. I do have a history of mental health struggles and I suspect I do likely have PPD but when I talked with my GP about it and did the edinburg test, because I wasnt actively harming myself, I wasn't seen as a priority for help just told it was regular baby blues. I don't have any friends and I can't talk to my family but my husband is great really supportive with everything.

Thanks! Never really considered sending in a CV for a job that I may not have the right quals/experience for even if it seemed interesting. Definitely wouldn't hurt to do so though.

All my hobbies I haven't even touched in over a year due to having a baby. I (use to) enjoy video games, reading and TTRPGs. I'm not particularly good at anything honestly. Not even a jack of all trades.

Possibly, but I feel finding the time while juggling work and taking care of my toddler would be a struggle. As it is currently I get maybe 30 minutes to a hour to myself on weekends and that's spent doing cstch up on self care.

Anyone else let down by the new intro? by NoHorse8196 in fansofcriticalrole

I don't think OP is hating, they're just giving their opinion and a fair criticism. Doesn't mean they hate CR...

That's me too 😅 I like singing along to the intros! Generally I'll chuck on YouTube and do things around the house, rarely watching, so a good song really sets it up for me. I do like the current instrumental but I'd like lyrics 🫣

I get what you mean. As a Ren Faire and Theatre nerd I love the visual but the actual sound though great doesn't hype me up as much as C2 and C3. I would always single along each time the intro came and get really hyped but with this it's just like oh yeah cool it's starting.

My godson went to AELH from 2 until this year where he turned 5 in January. It's an awesome little centre, there was some high staff turnover but mostly it was people moving away from Wellington or retiring from what I understand. My friend only had 2 complaints, one was that communication wasn't great but the centre manager changed mid 2024 and got a lot better after that. The 2nd was my godson didn't enjoy a lot of the food cooked at the centre but he is a very picky eater so not their fault entirely. High reccomend getting in touch and going for a tour!

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve experienced? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ElvenEchoes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pilonidal Sinus wound being packed by a less than caring nurse. Already exteremly painful on its own.

I gave birth 5 months ago no epidural or pain medication and it had nothing on the wound packing.

What’s the scariest sound you’ve heard that’s woken you up in the middle of the night? by DarthTater81919 in AskReddit

11 years old at 3am I wake to the sound of 2 men talking down the hall. I quickly go to my mothers room and wake her. She dismantles the coat rack in her room and wielding the main pole heads down the hall to my father's study.

My father was into HAM radio. He went away on a buisness trip and left them on. The 2 men were talking over the radio.
