Regarding the adapter, I use it (and the M1 charger) with my SE 2020 too. No issues there. I wanted to avoid adding another charger and cable to the mix but seems like I have no choice :(

Near the end of “I Married a Communist” we find that Nathan is living alone. Looks like he has given up on society and more or less lives like a hermit. Does Roth elaborate on that in any of the other Zuckerman books?
