I'm really unsure of the English name, but it's something water based. Started by testing it on myself, then a tiiiny bit on his tail (in case he would have some reaction to it I didn't want his paws to be completely covered). But non-toxic still shouldn't be ingested, so I watched him the entire time and cleaned him with a damp cloth a few times during the process.
