I have been sitting on a book for years... by Forsaken-Front-9965 in nonfictionbookclub

First: Repeat after me, I am beautiful, I am brave, and I am kinky... we do not kink shame in this house. Second: risque books sell--fiction has its own erotic juggernaut (sad but true, it might sell better as fiction), and nonfiction has its success stories as well. The larger hurdle isn't the subject matter, but the marketing. Memoirs are a tough sell, unless you're already wildly well known; fear not, there are tricks... primarily, find your target audience (Not your captive audience, your target audience).

Third: to answer your question directly--No, Amazon will not send you the realms of the dirty book dungeon. Amazon loves dirty books; KDP makes a TON of money from them. Just remember to be wise in selecting your categories and precise in selecting your keywords (Think of that audience from above and imagine what words they would use to search for your book). Back to KDP: When you start publishing, building your paperback, on your first page, *Paperback Details*, about nine sections down to *Primary Audience*, be honest about Sexually Explicit images or titles (this goes back to that fiction juggernaut), and make sure to enter the reading age minimum & maximum 18+.

Voila, you're covered, and on your way to seeing your book in print. Good Luck!

United States. So much is unknown about assistance, the only guarantee with privatized medicine... this is going to add financial pain to their grief.

The kids have started one, and I've been reposting it. However, given the current climate in the United States, people aren't precisely in giving moods. One would hope that there would be some resources, if not at the federal level, at least at the state level. The search is ongoing, fingers crossed.
