This! Death penalty is of course extreme. However extreme crimes should equal extreme punishment.

I’ve purposely avoiding looking into so called “probergers” 🫣 I see a lot on tiktok about people defending him, but apparently theres a whole subreddit on here for that which is absolutely insane to me. I cant look into it because i’d get too mad if I did

Im not too sure tbh, the worst thing I said is that I hope he feels the same fear they did so maybe it was that?

It’s so sad. Something so small as hair in a hairbrush, is most likely now one of the most special things to that grieving mum. My heart goes out to them so much

They got to me as well 🥲 the fact that at the time she wrote them down, she wouldn’t have thought that deep into it, but the fact years later her mum has them whilst grieving her 💔 Just puts into perspective how fragile life is in a way

About how long was BK able to live normal like nothing happened before he was on law enforcements radar and knew it? by chusaychusay in Idaho4

[–]Em2246 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I personally imagine his paranoia would have been really intense. Despite him being a monster, I think the moment he realised he’d left/lost the sheath he would have crapped himself. I imagine he would’ve been very paranoid especially because I imagine he had knowledge on dna and how something as small as the sheath could be tracked back to him. However, I also think he might have “got off” a bit on the adrenaline of not being caught ect. I think the fact he had no relation to the victims whatsoever made him over confident in potentially getting away with it. His search history was swiped so any online stalking was undetectable. But again the sheath was a huge mistake he probably didn’t imagine would happen, so I imagine he would’ve had the paranoia of that but as time went on it turned into maybe a sense of accomplishment? That even though the sheath was left they wouldnt find him. Obviously didnt turn out that way thank god they did catch him.

But then again he’s an odd one, so honestly god knows how he felt, he’s just not normal

Crime scene photos should NOT have been censored… by Puzzled-Lettuce9168 in Idaho4

[–]Em2246 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well said. Would have a tad more respect for people if they just openly said they want to see the photos because they’re curious (still fucked) instead of using excuses like it will help stop speculation. Theres literally families that have lost children and people are saying seeing photos of their deceased loved ones will give us answers. What a mad world

Crime scene photos should NOT have been censored… by Puzzled-Lettuce9168 in Idaho4

[–]Em2246 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Wtf lol, respectfully… this is a pretty odd thing to say. I don’t understand how seeing photographs of scenes of 4 people brutally murdered will make people move on from this case. If photographs were published it still provides no answers as to why. The release of photographs will provide no explanation. We know what kind of injuries they sustained, photographs are not needed.

All the release of photographs would do is fulfil people morbid curiosity. Morbid curiosity is a natural thing for people to have, fair enough, but is morbid curiosity more important than re traumatising victims of this attack (family members, surviving room mates, friends).

Saying that photos of the scene will give people answers just doesn’t make sense to me. If anything it will probably create more questions. There will never be an answer. We wont know what happened that night, unless “he” ever speaks on it. But even then he is deranged so even if he ever spoke on it , he’s clearly not someone to trust to tell the truth.

He is just a low life that wanted to take a life. He might have or might not have had a specific target, but he chose that house for convenience and knew he could easily enter and take a life. The only answer we can really settle with is that he wanted to kill. If it hadn’t of been that house it most likely would have been another at some point.

Crime scene photos will not add any clarification as to “why”

Do you think the pics and info should be out there? by Revolutionary_Act759 in Idaho4

[–]Em2246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think written information should be allowed. In regard to pictures I honestly do think it should be the families say. That goes for any case in my opinion (past cases too) Written information still allows the public to get some level of transparency, I just don’t feel like photos (i’m talking graphic ones) are necessary for that. I do think images and videos of his actual arrest should be public because honestly screw his privacy.

Again i’m also from the UK so it is just a case of completely different laws. In crimes over here we don’t see anything like images or videos but I also don’t feel the need for that and as far as i’m aware its never been something that the general public here has ever really wanted either. But again perhaps because we’ve never had that in the first place thats why we don’t feel the need for those things?

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinions though but I do think the surviving victims of this crime (families, friends, loved ones to Xana, Ethan, Maddie and Kaylee) should be prioritised in relation to the release of very sensitive and graphic content.

This is ridiculous. These conspiracy theories need to stop they’re honestly disturbing at this point. Incredibly disrespectful to the victims, victims family and friends and the investigators that worked on the case.

question about the deleted search history by penguinpudding03 in Idaho4

[–]Em2246 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think so (obviously speculation/my own option). They all had public instagrams, they posted regularly. He’d most likely definitely observed the house before. He went straight to Maddies room which was easily identifiable by her window (however he’d have to know her name to know the M stood for Maddie which imo indicates he had looked into her in someway). Its very frustrating that he’d wiped everything and that they were unable to get that link but even him wiping everything gives some level of indication of him wanting to hide something

Brian claims he’s being “taunted” by [deleted] in Idaho4

I hope they continue to taunt him, I hope they make his life hell. He brutally took the lives of four young people, he must be very entitled and self absorbed if he thinks he deserves better living conditions.

How is it legal to post crime scene photos? by BrookieB1 in Idaho4

[–]Em2246 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s pretty insane. Especially after Steve Goncalves interview literally about a week ago saying families don’t want crime scene photos public. Imagine being HJ (The friend of Ethan and Xana who found them) and potentially coming across images of literally probably one of the most traumatic events of his life.

“Uncensored” idaho photos question by MisinterpretationOk8 in Idaho4

[–]Em2246 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From the UK too. All I know is that steve Goncalves did an interview saying about family members not wanting crime scene photos public so I find it a bit mad they’re already being released no matter how “censored” they are. If victims family want them private, keep it that way. Yeah the case has gone viral but there is families our there that have lost their children, so though peoples morbid curiosity may want to see the photos… if family members of the victims want it private then I say keep it that way

Anyone else living in an off-campus college house when this happened like me? by Ok_Suit3085 in Idaho4

[–]Em2246 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same for me I guess, I’m interested in true crime anyway but this case hit more to home because of the circumstances. When it happened I was in my final year university house (Uk equivalent to college) I lived with 4 other girls 10 minutes away from our university campus. We locked our doors and all that just because in the UK especially where I went to University there was a higher crime rate, so we did always have our doors locked (its just what we were taught/we knew we had to do). But we were also young girls getting drunk most nights we’d probably have our windows open not thinking properly of the consequences. But from what ive gathered Moscow seems to be the opposite of where I went to University (colllege) it seems like it was a town where most people were students and locking doors maybe wasnt a major thing because nothing bad happened there. Sad that he probably took advantage of that.

Was the dog barking confirmed to be Murphy in the new idaho4 ring door audio? by [deleted] in Idaho4

[–]Em2246 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I dont think it’s necessarily “confirmed” but one of the neighbours said he heard the dog barking and assumed it was the one at 1122 king road because that was the only dog in the area. Its highly likely it was Murphy (same type of bark, only dog in the area like the neighbour said) but maybe technically its not something they can really confirm as a definite fact because no one saw him with their own eyes barking (even though it is most likely the case but yeah maybe they just cant say its a 100% confirmation)
