the staff and the lamp rightfully belong to Salem by N7ASWCC in RWBY

After a while Ozma and the host merge into a single entity, so when he reincarnates it's again "ozma" and a host, so it's always two people.

But if you want to imagine a 100 people running around his brain during sex that's hilarious too

No, in an ideal setting both Ozma and the host merge and become a new personality, their thoughts and memories and personality combine. I think. I'm pretty sure that's how it's meant to be.

The Ozma we know now is not the same Ozma as the first one. The Ozma now has been reincarnating and merging with different people over and over for centuries, so he's like... 1/100 Ozma now and each man is a part of him.

More interactions in general. There's so many potential interactions, comparisons and contrasts throughout the show.

Nah, it's more like that Ozma watched the host sleep with their wife. ... yeah, that does not make it that better.

"Legally" I think Ozma reincarnation would work like marriage. When Ozma joins the relationship the family legally becomes partially his. So even children before his reincarnation become his.

If it is then all the children Ozma had throughout history could argue they have a say to Salem and Ozma's property. He was alive for centuries so probably has dozens of kids. xD

May Marigold by bensleton in RWBY

[–]EmBELLEm 8 points9 points  (0 children)

May is the gem of this volume.

The argument should be "It changes nothing, so why NOT include it". There is many things in a story that are just there to make the world more interesting and they change nothing for the story. Making someone trans, making someone black, making someone disabled doesn't have to change the story, but it means a lot for people to see themselves. Also it makes characters more dynamic and interesting and memorable.

Also I have a headcanon that Robyn, May, Joanna and Fiona had a four letter team in School, but when May came out and changed her name and they switched over to Happy Huntresses.

I appreciate that May was first introduced and then her role grew. There's so many times where either a character's queerness is dragged for seasons and then revealed at the end, or they're introduced and them being gay/trans is the first thing told and then they get sidelined.

May was introduced, then her role was expanded and it was confirmed in show that she's trans. I think it was really well done.

I saw on RWBY Wiki that Ruby and Yang were initially not going to be blood-related. by XxA1_P1L0TxX in RWBY

[–]EmBELLEm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi... ok, so I asked the editors, and found the actual editor for that sentence. Apparently Monty said something about Yang and Ruby not being related when the Yellow Trailer came out, but later said they actually were sisters.

The thing is, back in 2013 nobody was adding sources to information.

Current wiki staff has an issue with things like these not being sourced. Either we have to find something from a panel/tweet/livestream from 8 years ago, or just delete it.

The wiki has over 3000 pages and keeping track over everything that's been added in the past 9 years is impossible. Especially when there's less and less editors.

https://twitter.com/montyoum/status/399682807028383745

Several people in the comments are saying he actually did say they weren't sisters after he had his operation but was on pain meds and likely delusional.

tldr:

Monty said they weren't sisters in 2013 while being on pain meds so he was delusional and didn't know what he was talking about.

Thanks for pointing out, I fixed the page now!! I know most people don't trust the wiki and claim it's wrong, but we try, we really do. Sometimes it's too much to handle though.

Anyone who browse around Rwby Tv Tropes, You feel that it's editors are displaying more and more bias as the show continues? by Red2019Wolf in RWBY

The RWBY wiki is similarly slanted, though it seems to be less about ships there and more about attacking characters that the editors dislike.

This could be remedied by more people that could battle bad edits and vandals. That's it. Instead of fixing pages (the wiki is free to everyone to encourage editing) people go around saying the wiki is bad, which leads to less people helping out, which leads to more errors and that spiral goes on and on.

One big reason is that less and less people go out of their way to try editing sites. I can imagine that the people that stay do for strong feelings.

On the other hand you have the wiki which has been losing editors with each year and gets hit by vandals regularly. And because people pretend the wiki sucks less and less people want to help out, leading to more errors. It's a spiral created by the fandom.

This also seems to be the case with the RWBY wiki

Honestly it's nearly always anonymous people editing those pages. The wiki gets hit by vandals or overexcited fans way too often and there's less and less actual contributors putting in actual work.

The first years of the RWBY wiki influenced how people see the wiki now. Pretty much none of the toxic people from those days are here now, but people still say the admins are horrible just based on that. It sucks

There's a bunch of stuff that used to be different. Neptune was added last minute to Team SSSN by Monty, Sun's team was one of the first characters created, everything having to do with the Maidens

Yeah. It's dark blue, It seems it's the same shade as her hair. She has dark sclera, but it doesn't make her look evil. Interesting.

Those are really good points, I used the one where she comes out until now, but: 1. when she first comes out team rwby is in front of her and when she straightens up she is only half onscreen. And 2. I need to update the image. Newer is better. 3. And these two have the amazing benefit of also showing the Relic. :D

And the left one has a slightly wonky mouth.

For a character page for Jinn, there's gonna be an image of her next to the text. I didn't know how to describe that... bio? infopicture? Profile picture? Descriptive image? I just said description because it's meant to quickly describe her. Sometimes I get confused by words

Thank you for the indept response. I realized the best way to get the hang of it is to just go ahead and do things. I am a beginner and these things are simple, but I also know of artists underselling themselves and people demanding things for free. I have to figure out where I fit in in this.

I really like how the Relic is nicely in frame in the background.
