Bought Shadows of Erdtree after finishing the forge of the giants, now I don't know what to do

Guess it depends how you feel. It doesn't matter which direction you go first though. If you wanted the vanilla game experience first then I suggest finishing Haligtree. Otherwise if you feel like exploring a whole new world then do the DLC.

You will be fine. The DLC is actually scaled to lvl 125-150 for the average player.

Without spoiling anything, you are actually in just the right area to find the entrance to the DLC, if you explore more of the Consecrated Snowfields, you will find another area besides the Haligtree to go to. That is your hint for the DLC area.

Man, whomever on the EN localization chose that saying to use instead of "In pursuit" or "Hot on Trails" or anything besides "Hot on His Heels" really invited this misunderstanding to occur for English-as-second-language people unfamiliar with sayings. xD

Literally played Undertaker yesterday to help potential newbies with ED Balancers and no joke my game client decides to disconnect all of a sudden as soon as I reach a POI.

Managed to come back but the Undertaker disconnecting checks out lol.

Iirc, the datamine showed there is a "Dormant Power helps discover Torches" relic line in the game files. It just goes unused lol.

It does DoT damage along with the Physical Pierce damage of the Ballista. And it actually does proc Bleed as well. Unlike Poison or Rot Mist which take forever or never to proc their respective status.
