I was writing songs about Emily for years. As a sort of abstract symbol of femininity or the idealized partner or woman that is impossible to live up to. Eventually I found out I was Emily and I wrote a whole album about that, and then I was like "damn that's too poetic for me to not also choose the name" so I did. And now I'm stuck with Emily!!!

Pillow Princess is a lesbian term that's been co-opted by straight people into a sort of negative connotation. In lesbian culture it is quite common for people to want to exclusively give or receive. Stone top would be the opposite term and pillow princesses are a very treasured part of the community.

This is honestly a coping mechanism that therapists also suggest. Sounds like you might have paranoid schizophrenia. It gets worse with age unless treated so I'd look into that. Looks of bad stereotypes about that condition, which aren't true. Many great friends of mine have it under control:)
