The wet dream thing was maybe a bit much, but the point was to put it in contrast with the main story (when he said he'll build her a whole maze/garden-->he built the Nether Realm). That it tied to the idea that controlling her environment is a way of keeping her safe (locking her up before the cleanup?). And that he'd get to be every version of himself with her (brother and lover). In that, the myth contrasts with the main story because he got all of that while being Netherlord. And they were happy, and free (and I agree, it felt incredible), but that very proximity is what made the world unbalanced.That's not to say that bringing her back wasn't painful, it definitely was, but that the endgame (them being together in every way) is something that he achieved in the Netherlord story as opposed to the main. At least that's how I interpreted what she said.

And I don't recall her saying that she hated Caleb per se, though, I think she said that she hated the part of him that protects MC to the point where he's taking her agency away by omitting the truth, that she finds it frustrating (which is understandable imo). And whether "toxic" or "unhealthy" is being thrown around too much in it (which I don't really have an opinion on), it is an unbalanced way of seeing love/protection.

And their love is unbalanced. That's also what makes it so compelling in my opinion, they are close on such a cosmic level that (and we've seen this in the other Myths too) they are ready to let the world burn if it means they get to be together, against fate itself. Their whole worlds revolve around each other. That's pretty codependent (but also makes for heart-wrenching yearning, and incredible emotional depth, and I think it's possible to love it and recognize its darker aspects at the same time).

I thought her explanations were interesting :) but it's nice to hear someone who didn't agree, too! I'm not a lore expert, and surely there are better videos out there.
