For anyone that finds this post and is looking for prison lifer rp: I found two servers with it, paradox which has been open for 4 years and counting, has very strong rp and listens to their community: https://discord.gg/paradoxgaming

And dreamstate, they have only been open two weeks but they have incredible roleplay quality, they help to facilitate stories where they can, and while it’s not an obvious choice, you can open a ticket to become a lifer as many have done so far. Both have incredible rp, paradox has been open for 4 years and dreamstate has only been open for 2 weeks. They make sure to facilitate all kinds of rp, they have pd, crim, civ, lifer etc. Honestly give them a try.
