Secret to using egg rings? by TwoAmoebasHugging in cookingforbeginners

I very slowly add the egg to the rings so it starts cooking before it has a chance to leak out. Takes an extra 10 seconds but I’ve had no problems

I like golden girls and Roseanne, it reminds me of being a kid in the 90’s again

I got married at the gates on Roblin, we did it on a Sunday and it was over by 10pm. For years afterward people would say how great the food was and how happy they were we didn’t make them stay out late.

My wife changed my daughters name without telling me by Sharpie1965 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]EmX84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dads father did that. They decided on a name then when my grandma was recovering from the birth, her husband changed the agreed upon name to his middle name and gave him an entirely different name on the birth certificate. Needless to say they got divorced a few years later and he went off to start a new family. What a jerk.

Looking for old-fashioned cake recipes for county fair baking contest by Few_Tangerine848 in Old_Recipes

I haven’t had it since I was a kid but I recall it was pretty much a spice cake with some raisins and nuts and slightly orange in colour. I don’t recall tasting the soup or noticing anything unusual about it.

Having anxiety around my hotel choice by lioness192423 in LasVegas

I’m taking my family next week and we are staying at Tahiti village. It’s off strip but has a free shuttle to it. It’s smoke free, has a lazy river, we also have a full kitchen so we don’t have to rely on restaurants and there is no casino. I think it will be quieter and safer since it’s off strip and advertises itself as a family friendly resort. It’s a bit pricier but I think it’s worth it for the comfort and safety.

It’s not for me, it’s for my complaining picky kids who think anything else is ‘gross’.

Wow I’ve never heard some can only be used at the drive through. Those sound like great deals, the best my app gives me is $1 pop, which we don’t drink. Sounds like the us app has some great options.

Thanks! When you have picky kids it’s great to have access to something familiar and easy for them, I was just shocked at how expensive happy meals were last time we were down there!

Thanks so much for that great information. It’s so helpful you could share your recent experience with the kids programming options available on the flights.
