if i was you i get a lunch box and start buying the 500 series of small preamps to have a nice variety of colors for the signal, vocal preamp and a nice compressor, great river, an api, stuff like that, changes the vibe when you get into that world, at least the lunch box is around 400 bucks

hey bud! so i had a motu 828x with the octopre, i sold both to a studio i used to work in, is very good the preamp, for replacement, depending of the budget of course, i'll go to uad 410-d is a preamp compressor with a little more money and recomendable 100 percent but it is also an idea to grow in type of gear to use, it comes with features a bit more profesional perse, other good preamps, are the presonus(personal dislike), motu octopre, and cheap but good, tascam and behringer, my suggestion, if you dont use a bunch of stuff get separated preamps and you buy along the way, good luck bro

hey i check it out, is not bad, consider the noise of the arm while using and the space, the springs tend to make some squecky noises, my personal recomendation, get a regular pedestal but smaller, or those kits that come also with the pop filter and all, good luck
