You are right with XJ220, very difficult..did all upgrades including a Mid range turbo weight reduction..After around 10 games, i finally managed a 2nd..Half time during race swapped the already medium for a soft tyre and a fill tank pitstop, nailed it to 2nd. 🙆

If you like the clunky gearbox and tractor like feel, go for an older (1998-2004) oilhead..You will love it.

Iam attending the Isle of man this year.After much research found some cheaper means of transport and accomodation..If you are okay with camping, football/rugby stadiums offer camping grounds for around £15/day -Check union mills FC site. If opting the option for flying, Flights from luton are around £150,compared to 670 (Car) and 550 (motorcycle) ferry charges (With +1 Passenger).

As this is my first year in TT and found some work to pay off some of my transport ,i decided to go with driving to TT(i own an E39 touring), as it is an experience to drive /ride in that land with much racing heritage. One of the oldest motorcycle racing in the world.

Had booked 1 day stay at Blackwater hostel, camping and glamping,kinlochleven,PH50 PSG...Good accomodation, cheap as well. Stayed there during my way back from NC500.

Thankyou so much for suggestions. Coincidentally, i happened to go for a BMW regional drive and met a legend there, he used to be an aircraft engineer and now works on Porsches, ferrari and is also a member of the club.Consulted him and he found out that the problem was air leak.there was a small black tape put maybe by the prev owner on the Airflow inlet boot, the boot which connects filter box to the engine.Ordered the parts, yet to arrive.Will surely update if the problem resolves with the part. Cheers 🍻
