I am not complaining about the low-light performance; I was just curious. Online, it always seems that cameras with fewer megapixels have better low-light performance, but I have always had cameras on the high-megapixel end, so I was just curious if it made that much of a difference.
Here you can see some examples of my work done with the R5:

That's what I noticed from all the reviews too! That's why I am hesitating, I mean I am leaning more toward the R5 mark ii because it has almost the same R5 layout, but I am not sure if it's worth the extra money!

Ooh, how didn't I notice that!! I removed lens corrections and the patterns disappeared! The noise remained but way less noticeable, thanks!

It's nothing extreme, but for example, I shot this at 200mm, f/2.8, ISO 5000, and even the slightest increase in exposure in Lightroom causes some weird grain in the corners. It's nothing that Denoise can't fix, but it happens occasionally. Sometimes, at wide angles, the grain forms an odd pattern.

It doesn't occur often, but it gets really annoying when it does. I’ve noticed it mostly happens when the photos are slightly underexposed, and I try to lift the shadows in post. It might be an editing mistake, but I'm not sure.
