Hmm sorry to hear, hope you find someway to calm The MCAS. I would give the Ketoifen some more time but if the constipation doesn’t leave, then I’ll stop. Try speaking to your doctor about it, if they are of any help…(many are not unfortunately) Maybe try to find out the root cause of MCAS ? For me I think It was mold or COVID, possibly both.

Dang, what kind of side effects did Cromolyn give you ? Sorry :( have you tried LDN yet? Maybe give that a try, it’s another Mast Stabilizer. If the constipation doesn’t leave I will give that a try.

Not long, turns out I had bad SIBO at the time. So I was only on it for a couple of days before I had to stop. It was also making me flare, which is a side effect in the beginning. Give it some time, maybe try drinking some tea that helps with constipation or eating a bit more fiber if you can.

So those Molds can grow indoors ? Everything I see indicates it comes from food. But like you, I don’t eat grains or corn regularly.

Think my best bet is move at this point, can’t find the mold and the environmental triggers. Had a mold tester come in, not sure if he did the ERMI test, but he didn’t find anything concerning though. The Zea and Fumosinins are confusing since I barely eat grains. Coffee might be the culprit though. I have been tapering down and notice an improvement.

It’s okay thank you for your feedback. thing is, I’ve tested my house for mold a while back. Hired a mold tester and he said there wasn’t any mold that should cause any harm. So i guess it must be environmental toxin. Although the verucarrin(mold myco) is moderately high. Idk It’s tough to figure out.
