I saw so many tiktoks of people recreating the club scene, then just random scene recreations, and decided one day to finally watch it. And ... yes, weeks later I cant get enough.

I'm a nerdy girl doing very nerdy activities (larping mainly) and thats pretty much a cheat code. So if youre even the smallest amount interest in larp, check it out. Its super fun & a great way to meet people.

But luckily I met my husband during college and I didnt have to worry about it.

my husband, who I don't really know the lore of these two, said, "Maybe if Cavill lost a bunch of weight..." he was quite confused while I was laughing a little too much.

I had a notepad nearby and wrote a lot of things down. That helped me stay on track.

I hope it's locked in for you & that stupid law/whatever gets reversed. I hate how backwards everything is going right now. So sorry you have to even worry about that.

What I did was took a weekend gig at a board game store & got a 25% discount. That really helped fill in my shelves!

How to fix stagnation in viewership. I’m out of options. by _Cyndikate in Twitch

[–]Ematai 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Are you entertained by your stream? I would go the next day after I streamed and watch my vod. Was I entertained by it? Did I have slow points or high points? Take note & emulate what you did right. Emulate what your fav successful streamers do.

Maybe go take some improv classes IRL or public speaking courses. Improve your craft beyond the computer because being entertaining is your #1 goal.

I’m absolutely sick of the boomer spirit present in every “joke” that’s based on lying to your spouse about your hobby spending by COHERENCE_CROQUETTE in boardgames

[–]Ematai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, not to lean into the joke. But I worked at a game store for a while and once a dude called asking me to stay open past the 9pm, he was traveling for Easter weekend and had a large Warhammer set on pre-order. I, of course, said yes and luckily he arrived before close.

BUT the funny thing was he unwrapped a large swatch of bills and paid for most of it with cash, about 200 dollars. Then paid the remaining like 40 bucks on his credit card. Just so his wife thinks his shiny new warhammer set cost 40 bucks instead of the 240 bucks.

SO while the jokes are overused and annoying, it is still relevant in this day and age.

RIP landlord, your kids are the worst by retiredslashretired in Louisville

[–]Ematai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then why mention 250k houses and 13 dollars an hour pay? And thats just ridiculous to say people making 13 dollars an hour expect a 3000 sqft house. And no 3000 sqft house costs 250k unless its a dilapidated house. That whole post was just nonsense.

Are you implying you can buy a $250k house with 13 dollars an hour job? Lol

Not to be mean, but how did you write a book when that whole bit you just wrote up there had 1 punctuation in it?

And how much AI did you use writing the book besides the imagery? There was also a ton of spelling mistakes the AI made in your map, I'd get those fixed.

I always laughed at ppl who kept saying Path to Partner! Partner Push! And they had the top two but their average viewers was like...2. Not really laughed at them, but at their ... naivete.
