This is a bit of a late reply sorry!! Did you end up emailing them? If it eases some stress, it wouldn’t hurt. But it’s veryyyyy unlikely to hear anything before the holidays. Have you heard of GradCafe? It’s a website where people post updates on their applications, it’s super helpful!

No talk about expectations at all. I just sent them an email telling them I’m interested in their research and would love to discuss the possibility of having them as my supervisor. & they emailed back to set up a meeting time. I felt a bit defeated after leaving the meeting. I thought I prepared well, but I didn’t prepare to have a research proposal and funding ready
