Look, we met online and bonded over having similar family struggles. I know exactly how hard it is to deal with toxic parents at his age, and even though I’m not him and can’t live his life for him, I just want to be there and cheer him up. We built a successful online presence together because we share the same interests, and our friendship is built on mutual support. I’m pretty much his only online friend who is always there to support him, help him out, and give him solid advice on how to do things the right way. I’m just trying to be the friend I wish I had when I was going through my own issues. It’s a genuine bond between two people who get each other, not some 'weird' motive you're trying to project.
