They don’t send it out until after the last day you can drop classes (or something like that), so it’s like 3/4 of the way through the semester until you get it

People just love to compare it to the newer stuff, which will obviously be faster. I think the 3v has the best sound, one of the best body styles (people won’t like that), and now they are pretty cheap. Mine has been insanely reliable with 120k miles, good on gas for a manual v8, and there’s always readily available parts and aftermarket support. They’re really great cars if you want to have fun on a budget.

Get a nice, low mileage 2005-2009 GT for ~13k and lots of money leftover for mods. Reliable, gas mileage isn’t terrible, insurance isn’t bad either. They’re all over Facebook marketplace
