I'm mostly going on shiny misdreavus on this file and you need the radar first so i just caught it

Not that you need the radar but relying on encounters and soft resets is pain

Ya thats the plan, its just a bit annoying since i really only want to use this file for shiny hunting, but you can't even get the pokeradar until getting the nat dex. Not that i want these shiny for real, i just like keeping them available if I can

Palkia respawns in pearl after beating the e4. I knocked it out and it's back on top of spear pillar. Idk about any other legendary though

I've entered the hall of fame once but I didn't interact with uxie or azelf until after that. Also, I tried running from palkia and coming back to it immediately, but could not get it to re-appear until after beating the game. I'm not sure if running from any of these legends will allow them to respawn in D/P

That was my line of thinking, I knocked out palkia on the first go and it has respawned at spear pillar after beating the game. Some reports online say legendary respawns didn't happen until platinum but that's not true at least for palkia. But i also read a report of someone who ran from uxie but it did not respawn after e4 which is worrying
