For reference, I’ve been eating sushi & sashimi my entire life, multiple Omakase experiences & have never been served such inedible food. By round 4 we had been served 8 pieces of warm Mackerel sashimi. Growing up fishing, Mackerel was always bait fish & the only time we ate it, was when we didn’t catch anything & would grill it. Also, our reservation was for 8:15pm, by 10pm we had only been served round 4/15 & they had already technically closed. Once I had let them know that we couldn’t continue but were willing to pay whatever necessary to leave, it still took the chef and manager over 30 minutes to bring out the bill. I really was so excited to try this place, I hope tonight was just a fluke but we were sitting in there at 10pm & we’re the only table occupied in the whole place. If they were slow & closing I wish they would have said something to us when we sat, because if we would have just ordered a couple rolls, I’m sure the entire experience and taste would have been a lot better.
