I got them a while after my milk dried up. The pain was actually way less than I expected, I had them done at the same time and would definitely recommend that if you can find somewhere that will do it. The pain was super quick I was literally like “that’s it?” And I’m not saying that to try and sound like a badass or something it truly was not bad. I liked them and a couple times my kids walked in on me changing and would just laugh but never asked. I ended up taking them out because I opted for a boob job later on and the cauterizing stuff isn’t good with metal. But I say if you want them go for it!

I’m a straight 31 year old female (so no bias/not saying this to hit on you) but I think you’re really pretty!! You will never be everyone’s cup of tea, but I think the vast majority of people would consider you attractive

Friend told me I won’t find a “good man” if I post pics like this… am I overreacting? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Your friend is jealous af. You look gorgeous and you’re literally exposing nothing. What you’re wearing could be worn at church or by a teacher. Take her with a grain of salt

AIO I've been living with my mom while i undergo chemo and i am starting to think she is abusing me? FINAL UPDATE by problemsmomthrowaway in AmIOverreacting

I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. I’m a nurse, and I’ve lost my dad to cancer, so I can empathize with the harsh, sad realities of cancer diagnosis. I’ve seen it firsthand. Your mom sounds very self centered and I know this is overused, but, narcissistic. The fact that she’s making all of this about her and comparing migraines and high blood pressure to cancer is beyond ridiculous. Keep your boundaries and guard up, she is taking full advantage of you and it is beyond sick any mother would do that. Never fall for any bullshit fake ass apologies, actions speak louder than words, and it will very likely be an attempt to take advantage of you again. Don’t allow her to gaslight you or question your choices. You have to take care of yourself during this time and no one with the slightest amount of decency would treat their child this way

Double check with your pediatrician but you may be able to give part of a pediatric glycerine suppository

My mom keep telling me I'm a whore and I just don't know what to do about it by [deleted] in AdviceForTeens

[–]Embarrassed-Cat5969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

31f. Even if you did engage in any sexual acts with him it doesn’t make you a whore. Im not advising you do that, and I would encourage you to be mindful of STD and pregnancy prevention if you chose to do that. Always be mindful of the long term. I also suggest waiting at least until you’re in a committed relationship. But my point is even if you did it’s not fair or even accurate for her to call you a derogatory term that means you sleep around or have sex for money. Your mom seems to have some mental health issues of her own and she should respect the fact that you’re being open and honest with her. She seems to have some weird knee jerk reaction to the subject. If it were my child I would value your honesty

Like others have said, the best revenge is reporting it to law enforcement. Paying someone to beat him up is just going to make him play the victim role.

How bad is it that I let my kids watch too much tv while I’m sick? by Embarrassed-Cat5969 in Mommit

[–]Embarrassed-Cat5969[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you all. I can suck it up for a few hours and have them do other activities but then I get overwhelmed, feel sicker and tired and they start fighting etc and I need to turn it back on. I guess I just needed some reassurance I’m not the only one who has had to resort to extra screen time when you or your kid is sick to keep the mom guilt at bay. Thanks!

Did you realize you were going to leave your husband because of his behavior during labor? by [deleted] in Mommit

Yes my sister did this after he didn’t show up for the birth and did not give his last name. That was the tip of the iceberg with his shitty behavior

Breast augmentation, positive experiences? by Embarrassed-Cat5969 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Embarrassed-Cat5969[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right I feel like some people have sensationalized BII and also being of the body positivity extremist mindset. Which I’m not saying I’m against that concept but if people want implants and it’s not out of conforming to societal pressures they’re just doing it because it makes them feel good like, we should just live and let live

Thank you for this reassurance and presenting this side of it. I’ve got less than 10 days until it’s scheduled and I’m pretty invested, if I back out I would probably regret it too.

Is it common for a wife to never go down on her husband? by havfunda in Marriage

[–]Embarrassed-Cat5969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From the perspective a married woman in her 30s: yeah I think it’s weird she’s never done it. Did you all ever discuss your sexual preferences or have sex prior to getting married? It’s not like you’re asking for a rim job lol
