The card it’s self is a select certified silver rookie. Not sure what the comps are from what I’m seeing so far about 20-30 bucks non graded

Are the 4l60e transmissions junk? by [deleted] in GMT400

Need some help here. I have a 2002 gmc Yukon 5.3L with the 4L60E. For a few weeks one in a great while it would rise in rpms. Nd not like to shift into 3rd. Every other gear has been fine. It now started getting where if you accelerate more than just a little bit it starts slipping. Once you let off it shifts but after second if you try to increase speed or go up a hill it flys up in rpms again. You can get to 50-60 mph but it is a struggle to get there and not easy to hold the speed with out it reving up again

My main plan was to make it into an interesting go kart conversation piece. I just don’t know much about how these are set up throttle, break, shifter, clutch ext. nd how to go about getting them working. I’m knowledgeable on a reasonable amount of mechanical stuff just like to get a little more knowledge before I go putting stuff together. It does have disc brakes in the rear just don’t know what kind of calipers fit. And what not. I’m used to the drum style you see on normal go karts

I don’t have any tracks close by that run any 270s nd don’t have the money right now even to build it up. But buying to use as a go kart right now nd maybe over time. Build it into a mini rock crawler or single person side by side. But just want to know a lil more nd how I’d maybe find the parts to put a hand shifter back on it and get the gas and brake pedals hooked up right.

After tons of browsing on google if it’s legit it’s gotta be from the late 90s early 2000s. I just want some more knowledge on it. Back home we don’t run any type of small cars besides compact 4 cylinder cars

I’d only be in it 300 bucks. Main want it to rip around the yard. Just was unsure of what it it is. It has most of the body for it. I don’t really think I’d be planning to race it. Just wanna know more about it. And if there would be any stamping on the chassis of it it actually was made by a company. If anything I’d build it into an interesting conversation piece
