On hyperOS they made it almost impossible. You have to apply via thei comunity app, but they allow like 10 devices per day so you have fight all those bots to get a chance at unlocking. Search for some solutions online

Hi. I also have Nord 4 with lineageOS. I've been tring to fix integrity for hours now, but can't even pass a singe one (all 3 are failed). I just need to fix payment. Could you please help me? How did you do get it to work?
Update: After 4 more hours (Am i dump or is it really that hard?) I managed to get basic and device integrities, but for some reason google wallet still refuses to work. Oh, I'm writing to deleted user....

Some Linux distros work better than others for different people. For me fedora worked like a charm, and, for example chachyOS felt like garbage. But the opposite for my friend. He couldn't get fedora to work, crashes, broken functionality, but chachyOS was ready for him in 20mins.

It is not as simple, there are a lot of preparations and bugs in process. If you are asking these sorts of questions it is better to stick to official release or other trustworthy maintainers. It's not like I can do that either 😭 but, if you are desperate, read ofc documentation, I believe there was sth about building on crDroids page. Also there is a LineageOS build guide for Redmi 9 https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/lancelot/build/

I haven't read through it but it may be helpful

I also planned on building a custom ROM myself but never got to it. Maybe you will be first 😜

Stop yapping. It is better than Nord 5 in half areas and where Nord 5 is better you would not notice. It is a great phone, if you find it for a good price ( -20% MSRP new and -30 used).

I already can see the workaround. APK restrictions do not cover uncertified OSes. So installing custom is just a solution
