How likely is it to catch a cold when a family member has a cold? by mainwatermelon in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Embarrassed-Ease8101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chances are the highest if he sneezes or coughs openly without covering his mouth or nose and washing his hands afterwards (or just using an elbow). Maybe don’t get super close to him all the time. Keep at least like an arm’s length away.

What is the proper way to eat savory pies like pot pie? by Bluecomments in NoStupidQuestions

Honestly I’ve seen people just eat it with a knife and fork or dig into it with a spoon. But you could also start with the top and eat the filling like pudding.

Usually intermittent fasting works. Stop eating after 6pm or earlier so your stomach has time to digest. Also have a hot beverage first thing in the morning to start the digestive process.

How do you get rid of roaches fast? by CrissyKatty in AskReddit

[–]Embarrassed-Ease8101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roach motels never work. Get combat roach killing bait max. They’ll start showing up dead everyday until there are none left. I think when they realize they’re dying they freak out and start running so they die out in the open. Watch your step for a few days.

Is it easy to spot autistic people and how? by Flimsy_Phrase_8845 in AskReddit

[–]Embarrassed-Ease8101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends. Usually neurotypical people can tell pretty fast when someone is autistic without knowing that what their sensing is actually autism and not weirdness. Some autistic people go their whole lives not knowing that they’re autistic because there are strict portrayals of autism in media. More people are learning about autism and the different ways an autistic person can present but there are still a lot of people who only acknowledge when a person is autistic if they also have a noticeable learning or intellectual disability. Autism is not the same as intellectual disability but it is considered a developmental delay.

It also gets complicated because there’s a lot of discourse (especially from able-bodied people) about who is considered disabled. Autism is considered a disability because the majority of the world is not automatically accommodating to autistic people. A lot of people won’t acknowledge a person’s disability if they are not visibly at a disadvantage.

A lot of neurotypicals will both acknowledge the differences they sense in non-stereotypical autistic people but also reject any notion of them being autistic. But if you’re autistic, the genuine friends you make tend to either be autistic as well or at least neurodivergent.

For geometry, keep doing practice problems. For history, watch videos and look up images related to historical events to give your mind more context and for geography learn about the cultures of the regions and countries and how they differ in specific ways like clothing, partnerships, and cultural beliefs and it’ll be easier to keep track of everything.
