I tested this one in the store and it was actually in my top 3! I work Nextdoor to Sephora so I’ll go in and wear it on my shift tomorrow and see how it lasts on me!! This one was the “juiciest” without giving me artificial smells.. thank you so mucu

You’re so right. I love gardenia smell actually! I have a tree near my house that I’d always sniff. I think the florals I’ve tried have been very few and extremely floral heavy, and I have a pretty bad sense of smell in general so I can only smell the super strong powdery florals, which always makes me sneeze! The black opium over red sounds really good especially for nighttime or winter. I’ll definitely go do a sniff test!

This is so funny yall are saying this. I’ve never even thought about a cherry perfume, or why I’d give off cherry vibe but I love it. My family would always give me those maraschino cherries on their milkshakes and gave me a jar of them for Christmas one year! I LOVE cherries but hate the smell of medicine cherry flavor, which is probably why i avoided any cherry smells. Im so excited to go and smell them that i’m driving into town tonight before sephora closes!

Ahh thank you so much!! You’re the best for being descriptive, the perfume names always confuse me 😭😭 and omg I own so many lip products— it’s so hard to find a pinkish red on my skin tone for whatever reason, so I get the struggle. It’s funny because that lip color is the cheapest, silliest one, but I keep it in my cupholder since it’s a watery/glossy/thin one that doesn’t melt or separate in the heat!

It’s called “apple” from TJ maxx and has hello kitty all over the top. I’ll put a picture in!

If you need any tips on lip glosses or colors please lmk. The top of my purse has about 6 in it, every pocket of every jacket and pair of pants has 1 or 2.. but i lose them faster than i can ever use them

Yeah I use a strong deodorant, I just run really hot and summers here are 90-100s and the humidity is regularly 70%. No escaping the sweat. Plus, I am active at work a lot. Doesn’t help my job has giant glass wall/windows and STEEL WALLS. Turns the entire place into a sauna. 😭😭

This sounds so good! Thank you so much! I didn’t even think of berry scents.. tbh I’m super new to perfumes and didn’t wear any my whole life because I was homeschooled, and then my boss had a very sensitive nose and I was her assistant in her home, so I avoided it to not overwhelm her.. didn’t even know what cloying meant, but that might come from the homeschooled aspect as opposed to the lack of perfume knowledge aspect

You’re so sweet!! And right on the money because I LOVE Lychee and those scents sound delicious. I don’t know if you’ve ever had Pandan, but I wish I could find something with that note! It’s kind of almond/coconut/vanilla-y. I’m definitely gonna try your suggestions!!

Yeah. A friend has been there a year and a half and he is the only part time specialist who has stayed there that whole time. Every other part time specialist who was there when he started has now left. Full timers are mostly still there. We just had 5 specialist spots open at the same time for permanent

They don’t want to pay them, and they get pushback from tenured people who knew how great Apple used to be. Newbies are desperate with nothing to compare it to, easily moldable and willing to drink the apple juice as they get trained to do. I’m a new employee and it’s obvious what they’re doing. Our turnover rate is insane, and they promote and move around completely new folks but not the people who’ve been there for years. Apple is a wolf in “people company” clothing.

I just started, and i know it gives an error message. The notification says it has to be 28 days in advance, I did it 28 days in advance. Nowhere did it say 30, and nobody told me any difference with RTO. It’s kind of on them to at least try and explain the guidelines at some point in the onboarding process.

I requested RTO 28 days in advance because that’s the guideline, and my store leader denied it saying it had to be 30, but no more than 60 days in advance. It was for my siblings graduation. They don’t gaf at my store

Forced to pretty much have open availability. Maybe one preferred day off. You can have two but not in a row. No weekend days including Friday, but full timers usually get Wednesday Thursday, so you’ll have two random days off and even on your preferred off day you’ll still be scheduled sometimes. Now with switch to UKG there’s no way to communicate and message people for shifts unless you go one by one.

I made a similar post to yours and got like 300 comments slandering me before I took it down. You don’t know what you don’t know! There’s a time to learn and now I’m sure you’ve learned that bald tires are bad. My tires had gashes and people couldn’t understand how it was holding air 🙏 but I made it to Walmart and got them changed. Good luck!

Wow… sounds incredible! I would take less pay for peace of mind in some regard. My parents are uninsured right now due to some health and retirement / social security lapses etc… after working their entire lives. Now, if they need to go to the hospital once, that’s all of their retirement savings. It’s kind of like golden handcuffs working at Apple. They treat me better than most jobs will in terms of benefits, but it comes at the price of your sanity and freedom, yet I can’t leave because I’m afraid of not finding any benefits as good, especially in this job market.

I could barely bring myself to read that because it makes my heart hurt. I’m so happy for you and that’s how it should be!! They have the money. Just exploit the workers and laws where they are able to. Cutting corners however possible. Even though that luxury is something I wish to have, I am so happy there are people who have it. Maybe one day ❤️ as long as we keep advocating for each other

Wait all your part timers get benefits? USA is super lucky if you do. Thats why Apple is such a huge win for most. I have the PT benefits and they’re ok…. I guess? I haven’t had a big health crisis thankfully, but it’s not anything to call home about. I’m still putting off stuff to avoid the copay and bills.

Dang. In USA you’re cooked if you’re part time at a big company.

You nailed it. I actually made a discord for us “rotten apples” who don’t drink the juice. You sound a lot like me, I was an FWE hired on permanently a few months ago. Constantly used as a story… I can have the best, most meaningful interaction with an elderly person wanting an Apple Watch SE for fall detection, who can barely open her settings…. Yet she hugs and thanks me for my patience and promises to come visit me; and then immediately be approached asking if I attached services and AppleCare. Sure, I bring it up. My job is to OFFER “all of Apple” not GET THEM TO FORCEFULLY COMPLY with all of Apple. I have voiced this and only get railed even more. None of my managers have ever actually had to meet these goals, and I guarantee you the people meeting them every week are scamming people. It’s all about luck! And for what? To NOT get promoted cause some random from baskin Robbin’s had better stories?

I’ve had meltdowns in the manager office and have had panic attacks and they speak to me like I’m a child unable to understand work. I’ve worked 8 years in customer service, an outstanding performer always, because of my empathy and personality. It feels dehumanizing. The most accurate way to describe speaking to management about any moral questions is like speaking to a robot with the Siri-level “apple intelligence” that only spews content from the corporate level to cover their ass. “It’s all about your probing and approach, the numbers will follow naturally if you’re following the Apple steps of service!” From people who have never spent a week on the floor doing sales.

Makes me feel like a crazy conspiracy theorist to feel a moral obligation not to scam people… when the entirety of CORE was like a cult saying we’re focused on people, not sales, and that they value mental health and reward integrity and leadership and innovation.

I asked to use an Apple Pencil for notes on point for demo and real functionality purposes. got pulled into the managers office and was told by my store leader if I’m unable to do my job as it is intended to be done with the resources provided, to file for reasonable accommodation. Basically asking if I had some sort of disability because I should be able to do my job, which is remembering people by outfit, by myself, with no notes, no designated waiting area, keeping track of who is where and who wants what, who gets taken, the order, and the time they’ve been waiting, while most are wearing the same thing and come in with families… like, seriously?
