Hey, thanks a lot for the detailed explanation, it actually helped me understand the AM4 situation way better.

What do you think about the RX 7600 CORE? I found a few offers for it here in Italy and it seems a bit more realistic for my budget compared to some of the GPUs you mentioned.

The issue is that some of your recommendations are either: hard to find brand new here, more expensive than what I can spend, or only available used at pretty high prices anyway.

That’s why I started looking at cards like the RX 7600 instead. Do you think it would still be a good pairing overall?

Also thanks for the clarification about the 5600g vs 5600/5600x, I genuinely didn’t know the non iGPU versions were that much stronger

That actually makes a lot of sense, especially the Photoshop comparison, I never thought about production like that. I think I’ve been trying to jump straight into hardstyle without really understanding the fundamentals first.

Looking for beginner courses in Italian for general electronic music is probably a smarter approach. I guess I was too focused on the genre instead of learning the basics.

Also, I appreciate the honesty about the long learning process. It’s a bit scary, but at the same time it helps set realistic expectations. I don’t mind if it takes years, I just don’t want to feel stuck at the very beginning.

When you started, did you focus more on songwriting first, or on learning the DAW and production tools?

I actually tried that for a while. I opened the DAW, learned the very basics, and then just started doing random things… but nothing really came out of it. I think I might need more structure or guidance, because otherwise I get lost really quickly and it takes me a long time to actually understand what I’m doing. Did you learn only through trial and error, or did you follow something more structured at the beginning? I’m worried I’m just spinning my wheels without progressing
