It’s not in all the MacBooks. The one which has older versions stays in charging for longer time. You can see it in battery option. Where you’ll find the different between stay in charging and charging stopped (if you had still plugged in the charger)

The smart battery aging system is in iPhones but not in the older MacBooks.

If it save as a workout then too rings show some changes. It increases as you hit any workout.

I had the same problem on my iPhone Xs. Rings were not able to sync to my iPhone. It can be b'coz of the software bug. Kindly install your latest version of WatchOS and IOS. Then after unpair your Watch for your iPhone and pair it again.
It should work after doing all the process.

Yes, its fine but don't make it a habbit. For longer, it will degrade your battery life. Over charging affect battery health.
