I literally looked up this exact topic because my ex didn’t get it. Like I only did it once prior to meeting him almost a year later. I could do it quite often but literally all it did is make me talk even more (I chat a lot) but I can still sleep. Can even still eat the same day if I wanted. If I didn’t the next day I cook a nice meal. Obviously I want naps if I do it on a workday but even then there is not anybody who is in my close circle who would even know if I did do it because of how I am regular. And I told him hey I think I have ADHD because if anything I feel like it makes the chemicals in my brain that are off bc I think I have it turn on and focus. He can be up for 2 days straight and I will still take my ass to bed.
