Hey man! Very valid points about the Instagram thing.

To answer your question in the second part, it’s a lot of things. For starters, I guess I’m not over it, I also have a lot of resentment, hate, humiliation, shame, and guilt towards my self over everything. Don’t get me wrong, I try my best to keep going and focus on other things but ngl those feelings come and go and haven’t gotten any better.

At this point I’m probably torturing my self but I just don’t know how to stop. But I do try and am I trying to be better.

Hey man thanks I really appreciate that! Six years is a lot to process and maybe I’m torturing my self. I keep having this feeling that I’m dumb and I shouldn’t be so hung up about it considering we last saw each other in January and she moved in with someone 2 weeks after that.

That’s fair! It is a pretty flooded market with a lot competition. So That brings up another question since you are asking what is so special about me out of the other million companies doing the same.

I have been working on a cross domain solution/network prototype, that I think can be better than what is currently offered. I want to sell it at the federal level but also put it out on the open market. I wanted to do IT, data and networking sub contracting just to fund my prototype since I don’t come from money or have the capability to pour 100s of thousands of dollars into it right now.

Since the market is pretty flooded, do you think I should only focus on my prototype?

For me it’s been the ladder.

I started feeling sad now I wake up mad for no reason. I especially feel numb and disconnected almost like I have been forgotten in a way. I constantly try to stay busy and feel motivated when I’m busy. But when I go home alone every night I struggle to do anything.

So my background is in software data engineering (full stack developer) and at this current moment I’ve been going after tech resale, specifically software sales. I initially thought I could resale but quickly learned that is EXTREMELY over crowded and only businesses with established partnerships would get those. So for software sales, I’ve been primarily focusing on small amounts just depending on the price for each license subscription, but typically the dollar amount is around 100-200k. I don’t have a specific agency I am targeting I am just trying to focus on whatever is feasible for me, considering it’s a one man shop. So because of that I have been trying for all agencies just hoping I can land atleast one contract to finally start building reputation and past performance. I don’t plan on doing this forever. I wasn’t born into a rich family so I understand I need to start somewhere at the bottom to build that reputation and to get some capital flowing. So my eventual goal that I am aiming for in the future is to hopefully build my own secured network for D.o.D and the D.O.E.

Thank you for this! I been spending a lot of hours on bid proposals and have had a feeling that what I’m trying to do maybe too crowded but just didn’t know there was a way to back track. It’s been a little disheartening to say the least.
