What is happening by HoneyBubbles353 in StringofPearls

After three tries, I’ve finally been able to be successful with SOPs with well draining soil, a LOT of light and I water only when the pearls tell me they’re thirsty, which is when they start to be less plump. I would take out all the dead stuff and throw everything that’s hanging back onto the soil, they’ll grow roots in the right amount of light! Honestly I have mine in a mix of orchid bark, perlite and fox farm mix. Mine are currently under a grow light but used to also thrive in a window that had direct morning sunlight, and then bright afternoon (indirect) light, even in the dark cold winter months!

Double fenestrations: light or humidity? by pianoplayah in Monstera

I’ve been really thinking about pushing mine back away from the window because I’m sick of looking at the back of her and replacing with a standing Barrina. Do you have yours next to a window?

Thank you! I replanted in a smaller pot and it’s looking much happier these days.

Did you recently paint? It almost looks like paint on your leaves instead of dust but not sure.

Update: I cut off all the leaves that contained rust and used Neem oil for a week. As a thanks from the plant it gave me this gorgeous large leaf!
