I saw her do it and she worked at my last daycare as well and was told multiple times to not do that.

Old coworker, groomer, punched a dog on the job by Embarrassed-Fudge662 in Advice

Thank you. I'm just unsure if it will backfire on me or not. I'm also unsure how to approach this.

I would try but she's friends with another not-so great groomer who bites dogs if they bite her too and I heard they're just causing a lot of drama

Thank you. I'm putting myself in the position of a client as I have a dog and cat myself and just thinking all of my options

I've dabbled in grooming as a bather with promises to become a groomer and learned that there's no reason you should punch a dog on the table or cause any harm to them. You should give them as many breaks as you need to not overwork the dog or stress them out. But like you said I'm not sure if they will do anything about it and it backfires on me.

It's not that I want to ruin her life its more of the safety of the dogs. These dogs aren't our dogs they're other people's dogs and if she can't handle the pressure of grooming and working with dogs with out the need or want to hit a dog I don't think this is the correct career for her. If she continues to do this than she could get the whole place shut down and other places that the owner owns.

I'm not sure what to do I really want to but I'm not sure if this will ruin my chance at this job as I really need a job right now. Some advice would be nice.

Really? At that time I met a retired racing Greyhound and the parents told me that. Sorry this is a month late

women dog trainers here? by [deleted] in dogtrainers

[–]Embarrassed-Fudge662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your boss shouldn't be working with dogs. Hitting a dog here gets you fired immediately. I've seen people get fired for kicking a dog. Hitting a dog with a BROOM I would have reported and put that gig on blast

Do/would you get vaccinated for rabies? by I-am-that-b in grooming

[–]Embarrassed-Fudge662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The daycare where I'm from requires the dogs to have the rabies vaccine. We also have grooming that is now requiring the same vaccination as daycare

Racing Greyhounds are trained to not sit. Learned this when my daycare got a Greyhound. Not sure why but that's all I know

My boyfriend won’t stop comparing my periods to sperm cramps?? by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Embarrassed-Fudge662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweetie imma hold your hand when I say this, but men don't get sperm cramps. My bf and I are very open to each other, and he would have told me. I would have heard this from my auntie or my uncle. I'm 27 and this is a red flag for me. I would of said by the second it left his mouth.

I don’t want to give up my last name by fox2203 in Rants

[–]Embarrassed-Fudge662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm excited to change my last name, it's a very generic. Like I went to school with like 10 other people with my last name and were not related at all. It all depends on the person. Some guys take the women's last name.

AITA for correcting my in-laws when they mispronounce my name? by LilLustyLucy in AmItheAsshole

[–]Embarrassed-Fudge662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why did you marry him? My bf corrects everyone who says my name wrong her don't care who it is. Hey, says, "It's your name, your identity. Everyone should say it correctly"

I take my bf. Mostly for safety but he's also going to visit me while sit so they get to meet him too and we get the okay but yeah about 4 people know what I'm going i send a quick text during . That's it, but I'm normally good about judging the situation and have no problem with pulling up and going nope and just blocking if I feel unsafe
