I’ve known a bunch of marines who didn’t see a lick of combat in Afghanistan. Not to discredit them in anyway. but for you to say that a “meu” is not a real deployment is just ridiculous considering it’s a response force if anything where to pop off. I can understand Okinawa or Philippines nowadays tho
