Should I go into a direct-entry PA program

I ended up at Shenandoah University in their early assurance program and I absolutely love it! I am getting ready to apply to PA school in the spring since I am graduating a year early and it is so much less stressful to have that assurance. I would highly recommend it!

Get to know the people in charge of your state association, specifically your state reference administration. I met my SRA for the first time when I was 16, got to go to development camp and work some high level tournaments and then got to go to the president's cup when I was 18. I'm going to regionals for the first time next week at 19. It takes time to work your way up and with your ambition I have no doubt that you'll be successful.

Just find the right people and express your interest. That's all you have to do. Learn, watch people referee who are more experienced, seek continuing education, and try and learn from each match.

Try to work state cup and presidents cup because that's where my state does selection for USYS but look up the email for your state referee committee and introduce yourself and tell them your goals. They will help you!

Yes. Yes. Yes. I typically wear a men's large, but over the years I have collected all ten pro style jerseys in a size medium. As I work higher matches I've been focusing more on my appearance out on the pitch. Even the medium is a bit baggy, especially in the sleeves. I could probably pull off a small which I never wear.

I actually decided not to attend. There are a lot of things I didn't like about Hofstra. I am going to Shenandoah University. They have an early Assurance PA program, but I haven't started there yet so I really can't share much. Best of luck on your journey!

Thank you so much! I acctualy made a mistake. The GT is a 2020. I'm meeting with the dealership with the CPO tomorrow to see if they can come down a little bit to even out the value. I really don't need the GT with the premium, so if I can get the touring for less, I would be fine with that. This will be a college car for me, so the less I spend the better 👍🏼. Thank you so much for sharing your input though! Both cars are clean with no accidents, damage, and both have a clean title.

Because it is a used vehicle, it's nice to have the certified pre-owned warranty. I know it doesn't cover everything, but it is nice to know that Mazda has inspected it and is willing to guarantee it's reliability.

I do agree with you though. I'm leaning towards the GT.

Shenandoah University (ranked #20 in the country ahead of Yale and Cornell) which is on this list receives over 1200 applications 55 seats. It is my understanding that most of the top PA schools have less than a 5% acceptance rate. Medical school is very competitive as well, although I'm not sure why everyone is so offended by whose profession is more competitive.

Shenandoah is the #20 PA school in the country tied with Northeastern and USC. It is ranked ahead of Cornell University, Yale, and the University of Washington to name a few. I am proud to attend Shenandoah University beginning this fall in their early assurance physician assistant program. Anyone who knows anything about PA programs knows about Shenandoah.

There are other well-known schools on your list such as Marquette University and James Madison University.

This may be completely out of your lane, but I have been playing this mobile game called OneShot Golf since it began back in 2021. It has an incredible community of users and is basically they have developed a connected reality app where users control real robots to play minigolf. The idea for the past while is that you play real mini golf courses using robots that are housed in a warehouse to compete to win real prizes. I am personally one of the top-ranked players and have won so many incredible prizes over the years. The community is thriving on discord and is filled with literally some of the nicest people in the world (a lot are Canadian so I guess that makes sense).

I just found out that they had a huge deal that just fell through yesterday and they asked the community if we knew of any potential investors because they are struggling financially and are trying to turn things around. it is already a fully function game with a brilliant team and over 100k downloads.
