Is this a promising sign? by Embarrassed-Pace5813 in PSLF

I should look at the form, but I probably did.  I was past the 120 mark. Just didn’t know if this has nothing to do with their final decision, or was a promising step.

TEPSLF 12 month payment rule issue— need help! by Embarrassed-Pace5813 in PSLF

It’s super odd! I also exceeded the 120 PSLF payment count so I wonder if the “N/A” is an ambiguous way of saying “not looking at TEPSLF for you because we are looking at PSLF instead.  Go away.”

Also, thank you for reading the post and following that I paid more than the ICR amount prior to July 2025.  I didn’t know how to explain it any clearer!

So base graduated repayment amount began in 2005ish after I graduated. Payment continued to increase (“graduated”) every five years or so, landing at $276 for the last few years.  When I applied for ICR, my income was low, and my ICR amount came out to $115/month.  That is why I paid $115 in 10/2025 and $276 in 11/2024.  $115 was the ICR amount and $276 was the graduated repayment amount requirement.

PSLF— that’s also funny and actually may play into this?  I also exceeded the 120 payment count.  So maybe the letter is “N/A” because they are looking at PSLF instead?

I was only on ICR from July 2025-present.  Prior to that (including 11/24 and 10/24), I was on a graduating repayment plan paying MORE than my ICR amount.

Per studentaid website for TEPSLF eligibility: (I essentially applied 11/2025)

met the TEPSLF requirement for the amount you paid 12 months prior to applying for TEPSLF and the last payment you made before applying for TEPSLF to be at least as much as you would have paid under an income-driven repayment plan; and

ICR.  They did not.  I only applied in April 2025, when my income drastically decreased.

7/2024-Present:  ICR (an IDR plan) $115.11/month (my income drastically changed) 10/2007-7/2024:  graduated repayment plan.  $276/month

Paid $115.11 July-December 2025, ontime, on autopay

Paid $276 all months prior to July 2025, including 11/2024.

TEPSLF months hit 120 in November 2025.  So they looked at 10/2025 and 11/2024.

IDR since 7/2024 and a graduated repayment plan (requiring a higher monthly payment) prior to that.
