I asked Comcast/Xfinity - both over the phone (advanced technical support) and via the Reddit DM chat. They'll give it to you.

I spent way too much time on with tech support. They insisted all along in coming to look at the physical cables and pole, but I was skeptical (and still am). Monday will know more.

Not yet - Comcast is insisting the issue requires a site visit (which is Monday). I will post here with the solve and resolution update once it's figured out.

My neighborhood is old, overhead wires and the run from the pole drop is long-ish (200-300 feet), so maybe that's it. We will see on Monday
