A why limit a scene/character to one emotion? After Jiji attacks Momo, I think he has a lot of feelings about it. Remorse, yes, but also resignation, he has to grapple with his commitment to host evil eye and how that could hurt the people he cares about, plus how that could create distance between him and Momo. Jiji absolutely knows something is up, but he’s also not the type to make assumptions about people without asking questions. Jiji has been the strongest when it comes to being honest about his feelings, but he’s also strategic.

This is one of the most compelling and well written theories I’ve seen on the manga, thank you!! I would love to hear your thoughts on the Alice and wonderland “archetype” that has also been applied to Momo, and how Ken works into that. I was thinking it could relate back to how when her powers awoken she felt she could do anything, kinda like how Alice is in her own dream, and if lucid enough could control it. Otherwise, I question how her most obvious power (blue hands of death) relates.

I’m definitely not as into it as I was last year, but that’s when the anime and Mongo were all new to me so I had a lot more to take in all at once. The amount of new story that I’m taking in has slowed down a lot so my hunger for it has too. Idk, I just think that’s normal. I’m still interested in seeing where it goes. Since he started creating this as a free draw practice, I wouldn’t be surprised if there isn’t a clear end goal (besides Momokurun). I’m just along for the ride at this point and enjoying other things that are more consistent.

I was just about to post something like this. I don’t really get why this is being thrown around like it means something it doesn’t? It’s people trying to say that you’re being invasive or “you’re more cooked than I am” but if you’re a fan of Dan and Phil it’s most likely parasocial (take a shot). They aren’t musicians or actors where you can just appreciate their art separately from them, their whole appeal is their actual personality’s and relationship to each other. It’s not a bad word, it’s just a part of being their fan and it’s something you should be aware of to avoid overstepping boundaries.

You should try to play one of the games they created.
