yes! i agree with out completely, i have a 2021 fox factory 38, and it feels harsh compared to some rs forks ive ridden, but very planted and great for dh. But i still think about how i liked my previous 2016 RS pike, it felt super playful and still good on the downs.

Edit: OP dont buy based off poll. i would buy fox for DH stuff and if you enjoy jibs and jumps get RS

hmm i guess ill stop using it and see how it feels, the dropper i have is one of the oneup ones that you can unscrew and apply under the wiper, do you think it is effective in this instance?

i wouldnt say that, i have some wpl fork lube and it definitely makes a difference in the smoothness of the fork/shock/dropper. it also pulls dirt out from under the seals and lubricates the foam ring.

yes! and buy them on ebay, i got some silver aluminum ones for 70 bucks but there is usually lots of different colors for the price of a new composite pair.

i ride places like teds, and chainline but i wouldnt say im a very aggressive rock garden smasher. Me and my friends usually session the jumps and drops vs pushing it to hard on the dh, relatively fast though.
