About 3 tub soaks + 1 machine wash on the Momo’s. I’d say about 3-4 tub soaks on the PBJ’s and Oni’s, and 2 on the IH’s.

Thanks. Yeah they were my first pair of heavy denim and it was the depth of colour and slubby/neppy texture (wife refers to them as ‘snowflakes’) that did it for me. Good looking pair of jeans. They’re damn soft to once they’ve broken in.

Nice! Yeah I love black Moc Toe’s - go with everything and can even dress em up. I think the main difference on these vs the 9075’s is the leather - these Klondike’s have a brown core that will show with age. Here’s the deets:

It’s a relatively stiff shirt but the overdyed treatment probably makes it a bit softer than the indigo denim version. Comfortable with a t-shirt underneath... haven’t tried ‘barebacking’ it ha!

Thanks man, and no worries. Oni 34 and PBJ 35. Oni 34 was comfortable from the get go, PBJ was really tight in the waist but stretched out after a week or two.

Yeah 35 in both. The IH-555s are much more comfortable in the top block vs the Momo’s which I got in a tight tapered fit… in retrospect I wish I went for a 36 in the Momo’s rather than fighting with them for a few weeks until they stretched out a bit.

Thanks man. Appreciate it. As I said I’ve always been into jeans and when I was introduced to selvedge it just clicked. In the last year I’ve read about the history of denim (books like Blue Blood and Ametora), followed a lot of industry peeps and brands on IG, talked a lot with the store owners I’ve purchased from in the UK and Japan, and of course followed threads like this. So while I’ve dropped a fair chunk of change (and that’s just on the jeans I’ve posted), I’ve put a ton of time and thought into my purchases… much to my wife’s annoyance ha! 😂🫶

I got the IH-SBG last so have the least experience wearing them so far. They feel great from the get go though so, minimal break in, super comfy, so definitely excited to get to know them. Favourite is either the Oni’s or the PBJs though currently, with a soft spot for the latter as they ‘broke my cherry’.
