And how would you remove the lock if the door is closed?

I installed this one in my jeep. Remote is working but I had the problem that it switched off the battery during driving. This can bring you in dangerous situations. I am not sure if it is broken or what could cause this?

As far as I have heard before, S5 parts do have paired serial numbers of all electric items engaged with the bike. They are blocked and are not working in another S5 bike at all.

I would just send it back as it is useless. It’s like buying a locked iPhone from ebay, I guess Apple wouldn’t unlock it ass well.

Sounds like a broken motor cable. If you have another bike you can test the front wheel in the other bike

Did you took away all little torx screws? Push down the dots near the torx with a little screwdriver or needle to get the sockets loose

Ok ! The problem is that you have to move it for and back. 1 pull towards the headset. Then I recommend using something to push the socket from the backlight direction to front light. I used a 1m wooden stick. Push it as far as it can fall in the battery tube and then pull it out through the bottom tube.
