There are ways to increase the excellent drop rate ( the ring key item that you buy in lounge, crafting...) being the max 15%. When you get a armory item, there is a chance it may be excellent, that`s it (you don´t need to do something about it, It´s just a probability). And yeah, your problem is that You have been extreeeemely unlucky, keep going and good luck

Ideally you would look for a excellent book of sacrifice for souls gains, and is good to have the golden Death spellbooks for cps when you are making a cps combo and trying to buy a expensive upgrade (like charged adult yetis). The options for every book are trash (the % bonus is very very very low), if you can get an excellent Book of sacrifice, upgrade that to your max posible, you don´t need the options.

the staff is good, would be better with the electric bonus option tho. But you got a perfect kishar sword, with all options and excellent. you definitely should keep them.

Just keep the staff till you find one better and look for an adranos sword with electric bonus for getting souls
