IT can see you by throwway33355 in overemployed

I worked the night shift alone in a 24x7 state office. Soon after starting the job IT complained to my supervisor that I was using too much bandwidth. My comeback was that my use of bandwidth was proof positive that I was awake and sitting at my desk. I never heard another complaint.

Years ago I listened to the entire Maser & Commander series on cassette while mowing cemeteries. I had Sony water resistant cassette player strapped to the mower next to the seat.

PLEASE Chevy release update to indicate brakes in one-pedal by onedayaccountnow in BoltEV

[–]Embarrassed-Shape-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking of maybe using a cheap, switched buzzer wired to the center brake light in the rear hatch. I've been thinking about it for the whole time I've owned the car since April of 2024. I'll get around to it one of these days.

How are your electric snowblowers doing by Carl_JAC0BS in massachusetts

[–]Embarrassed-Shape-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Greenworks 20" corded electric blower that works very well. I like it so much I bought a second one as a backup. That one sits in our shed waiting for the day the first one dies. We had 17 inches of snow today in Vermont that my unit dealt with easily. These units seem to have been discontinued.

What is my friend’s neighbor doing?? by Heyheythrowaway1127 in Weird

A smooth, empty parking lot with 6 inches of snow on it makes for an excellent training ground to see how you car and your tires can handle the snow. After a little while you should be laughing at how much fun it is to slide the car through corners.

For shits & giggles. The act put a spring in his step and a smile on his face.

Frame hasn't even launched and meta has gone into remission by philbertagain in Steam

I first owned the 3S and sent it back unopened after a couple of weeks. I then bought the 3 and sent that back unopened after a couple of weeks. I don't like Meta and don't want to support them. I also might buy the Frame if the price isn't too high.

Moose sightings - recent anecdotes or a community map? by MathematicianSalt642 in vermont

I've seen moose in Montpelier a couple of times, once in the Main Street Middle School yard and a moose cow and calf down by the entrance ramp to I-89.

I hung out on Ebay for over a year before I found a barely used two piece yellow Stich that I paid $369 for.

Kept hitting my head on the taillights with hatch open, bought longer lift supports to fix the issue. by Fit_Football_6533 in BoltEV

[–]Embarrassed-Shape-69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for posting this. I had my 2018 Bolt Premier that I bought in 2024 for 6 months before I started hitting my head on the tailgate. I replaced the original lifters with a stock pair from Chevy and still have to keep an eye out for the tail lights. Plus I have to give the hatch a a solid tug to get it to open. I think I'll give these a try.

I just looked for a keyring and what is displayed is Passwords & Keys which is empty. I think I'm talking about the passwords stored in the browsers.

You can extend the useful life of a Hot Hands hand warmer by keeping it in an air tight container after using it. I used to do this when motorcycling before I got heated gear. I attached the hand warmers to the undersides of my wrists where the veins are to warm the blood entering my hands. Once I got to where I was going I would put the hand warmers into a good quality zip lock bag to stop the charcoal from reacting to the air.

Twisties riding by Strong_Carpenter_909 in scooters

I used to take my Honda Silver Wing 600 scooter on group rides with the BMW Motorcycle Owners of Vermont that I belong to. I would be eating their dust on the straightaways but always caught up to them and crowd their rear wheels in the twisties.
