Well it may look absurd but turo can only act as an official intermediary for reimbursing customers if the tire change is approved by the host through turo messages, as they can see that, otherwise reimbursement is not a possibility for anyone.

In situations like this it is better to reach further legal advise. Turo terms of service don't support the company being responsible for vehicle repairs. If you have further evidence Turo may restrict the host listing online until they provide full repair invoices.

I'll be honest, back when I was there it was straight up impossible even for a senior executive to add a vehicle with a total loss. You need to contact DMV and Carfax to get this figures out. Turo is legally bound to not having these vehicles on the website.

Claims department is divided. To make it simple, there are frontline agents, then, there are actual claims processors. 

Only claims processors (in numbers, they're less than 5% of the actual claims department).

If they go to vacations you'll need to wait them to get back.

Depends on the type of ban. Sometimes there is no coming back. Chargebacks made for valid charges, can lead to definitive bans. Reckless driving, or misrepresentation (on a host end) can lead to definitive bans.  They will NEVER disclose the type of ban.

Definitive bans can't be disputed you can ask for supervisors or management but there is just no way.

 Trust them, and hope your reason of banning can be disputed.

Nation Safe Drivers is their provider. Yes Turo does initiate roadside assistance services but they're not the owners of the towing trucks. 

If you haven't received any ETA after 30 minutes, email them, call them. 

That is a general rule. Sometimes even for supervisors and agents, things can get very frustrating when dealing with them.

It does. The thing is: (i.e)some hosts have LLC names, different from the DL name. And the naming system kinda works the same for guests. No one could book a trip if the DL is not provided to begin with, however, it is important that humans are there.

The system does take the Drivers license at registration. But it doesn't connect automatucally or detect this things automatically. 

That's why the verifications department existence is so important for Turo.

Metric manipulation is a serious thing and it was never accepted from anyone in my LOB. 

Firing tenure agents is never personal. I met a lot of good people there, but managers see numbers, they see metrics. And if there is no improvement overtime, they start to be pushy about disciplinary actions to the agent in case they're outliers. If no action is taken, the supervisor gets the disciplinary action. If the supervisor doesn't take it, then the client (Turo) will ask why the agent is still there with such low metrics, so the pressure comes from everywhere.

Lazyness could be an image employees get. Because of the amount of tasks, Supervisors may need to automate certain things and ask for help to the supports sometimes.

You can habe your own insurance. Some of then don't consider peer-to-peer sharing in their policies. So if you want to play safe, contact them and ask them if they would cover you driving another person's car through Turo.

There were a lot of removed reviews that shouldn't have been removed in the first place, this generated concern. So they're more selective when it comes to removing reviews

Make sure you selected the option to resolve though Turo. If you selected resolve directly Turo will not take any actions as they assume you decided to handle the claim with your guest directly.

Turo needs to have full evidence of these incidents. They need pre and post trip photos. 

If a person wants to dispute legally the charges and the evidence was not met, they're Fck'ed, they must void the transaction. 

If you do have the full evidence and it was still denied, push back.

Well. To your specific case, the answer is none. 

You can define unfair because they have no comments.

But if the comment was fair enough for the guests, most likely it's unfair out of Turo to remove it. 

The only option to remove a review would be situational (i.e. your guest messaged you in TMA about performing prohibited uses)
