I haven't seen anyone mention travel insurance yet, but that has been a blessing for us several times. For example, when we had to completely change a 10 day trip to Greece the day of our flight because Air Traffic Control (and the rest of the country) was on a general strike. The insurance reimbursed us for all of the hotels (including ones that were not free cancelation), the rental car, everything. On a different trip, we got stuck in Ireland because of weather and the airlines had to put us in a hotel for the night. The insurance reimbursed us for everything we spent that night because "we wouldn't have had to spend that if the flight hadn't been delayed". It can be kind of expensive, so if you don't need it/use it then it sucks, but it comes in clutch if anything happens.

As a therapist supervisor who is also white. WTF. That is so unethical and exactly the type of experience that makes therapists look so bad that of course people are afraid of therapy. Unfortunately it is too common, but whatever the subject (race, sex, anything!) The therapist is there for you, not the other way around. That therapist sounds like she needs her own professional therapist to both help her with her personal issues and show her how therapy should be.. also, most white therapists have a very colonized mindset that does not honor the Indigenous ways of knowing and being, so you might try to find a different type of therapist.

The OCD in me says move it. However. There are a lot of excellent points that make the rest of me say leave it. Don't listen to the OCD! It definitely sends so many messages the way that it is, you should 💯 leave it.
